Ayla, Healer of the Kassar
She is an enigmatic woman, wiry and tall, innocently beautiful. Light blue beads are woven into a thick plait of golden hair, which frames a slender visage. Blue eyes like the sky before the storm, a smile to rival the dawn, and a heart free as the windswept plains she calls home. One of the Blood People, she will die to protect her family. Her love is fierce, and anger slow, but vicious. She dons the garb of a Free Woman of the Plains--bosk skin dress and boots, and a tiny gold ring piercing her septum. She owns two kaiili, Mamut and Dust, powerful beasts and grand companions.
